Key Features
- Steel Construction — Manufactured from durable steel material, these suspension links offer superior strength and longevity compared to plastic alternatives, meaning they can withstand repeated impacts and harsh terrain without breaking or bending, which is essential for serious rock crawling.
- 313mm Wheelbase Specification — Engineered to match the exact 313mm wheelbase of SCX10 III Base Camp and compatible models, ensuring perfect geometry, proper suspension travel, and optimal handling characteristics for your RC crawler.
- Wide Model Compatibility — Compatible with numerous Axial SCX10 III variants including the Base Camp (both white and grey), Coyote (multiple colours), Toyota SR5, Jeep JT Gladiator with Portals, Jeep CJ-7 (red and copper), Early Ford Bronco (blue and white), Pro-Line 1982 Chevy K10, and the SCX10 III 4WD Rock Crawler Builders Kit, making this a versatile spare part for multiple rigs.
- Genuine Axial Component — As an official Axial OEM spare part, you're guaranteed authentic quality and perfect fitment, unlike generic aftermarket alternatives that may not provide the same level of precision engineering.
- Enhanced Durability — Compared to standard plastic suspension links, the steel construction dramatically improves durability and reduces the frequency of replacement, saving you money and downtime in the long run.
Technical Performance
The Axial Steel Suspension Link Set represents a significant upgrade path for any SCX10 III rock crawler owner. Steel suspension links are engineered to absorb and distribute suspension loads far more effectively than plastic alternatives, allowing your RC crawler to maintain consistent geometry and handling through demanding terrain changes. The 313mm wheelbase specification ensures that your suspension maintains optimal travel and articulation, which is absolutely critical for scale rock crawling where smooth suspension movement directly translates to obstacle-clearing capability. Axial's engineering ensures that these links integrate seamlessly with the existing suspension geometry of your SCX10 III, maintaining the precise angles and positioning that make the platform so effective on rocks, roots, and rutted terrain. The steel material resists deformation under load, meaning your suspension geometry remains stable session after session, unlike plastic alternatives that can wear, twist, or develop play over time. For UK RC crawlers who put their rigs through serious terrain repeatedly, upgrading to steel suspension links is one of the most practical and cost-effective performance enhancements available.
