Overview
The iMars D300 AC/DC multi chemistry dual output charger is a compact yet powerful charging solution for anyone looking to charge 2 batteries simultaneously. Designed with G-Tech technology it enhances the users experience when using the G-Tech ecosphere of products allowing for charging simplicity and improved safety.
As a multi chemistry charger it gives you the flexibility to charge/balance charge 1S-6S/2S-6S lithium batteries (LiPo, Li-Ion, LiFe and LiHV) and 1S-16S NiMH meaning whatever your fly, sail, race or bash the D300 can ensure your charged and ready to go. With two individual channels you can independently charge/balance charge at a rate of up to 16A per channel with a maximum of 300W of power on AC or 350W of power on DC dependent on the power input. Beyond charging the D300 has an impressive level of extra functionality such as Discharge, Storage, DigitalPower, ExtDischarge and SyncCharging offering more versatility out of this small charging package. The Discharge function allows you to discharge batteries of multi chemistry types at variable rate of up to 3A per channel. If you are planning on leaving your batteries for a period of time it is best practice to store them with a level of charge in, this is easily done by selecting the 'Storage' function within the menu. The iMars D300 will then charger or discharge (depending on the condition of the battery) to a voltage that ensures your batteries will be in peak condition next time you go to use them. The SyncCharging function allows you to combine both charge outputs to give you a maximum charge rate of up to 23A by using a parallel charge cable (sold separately) ideal for stock racers looking to get optimum performance from their power source! DigitalPower mode allows the charger to be the equivalent of an adjustable power supply meaning you can use the charger to power items such as soldering iron or tyre warmers! Finally the ExtDischarge function allows you to quickly discharge a battery source with an XT60 connector with an external discharge load such as Tyre warmers, Soldering Iron or LED Display.
When the Gens Ace G-Tech battery is connected to the iMars D300 charger, the charger will automatically identify the battery type through the G-Tech Smart balance connector. The number of cells will be detected and the default charging current recommended by the battery manufacturer will be set. With all this data fed back to the charger it commences charging with these recommended settings ensuring the safe and efficient charging of the G-Tech battery. The iMars D300 is also fully capable of charging non G-Tech cells too thanks to the unique design of the G-Tech balance lead! You can connect a standard balance lead to the D300's balance port, however it is necessary to manually select the battery type and the required working mode to get it started. The charger can intelligently detect the cell count of the battery pack, and combined with the correctly selected battery technology will intelligently set the appropriate charge rate for the battery pack connected.
The updated and revised user interface is simple and intuitive to user allowing you to quickly and confidently navigate the menus without complication. Thanks to the 2.4inch LCD screen, all the information with great clarity regardless of the light levels. The 4 buttons located to the right of the screen provide a way to navigate the menu's and make adjustment to settings. Both battery channel's information are shown simultaneously however you can toggle between the individual channels by pressing the CH/Back button and allowing you to make adjustments to the individual channel settings. The charger has been designed to wrap all of this power and technology in as small a package as possible, allowing it to occupy as little space as possible on your pit bench or bag! Finished in a satin black, it is a sleek looking charger that looks smart wherever it resides.
From time to time the charger may require a firmware update which can be done via the USB port located above the AC Input port. As this port is powered it can be used to provide power to items such as LED desk lights and charge your phone at the same time as carrying out other functions of the charger.
Everything you need to get charging is in the box, alongside the charger itself you get the mains power lead along with the 2 x XT60-T plug adapter, 2 x XT60-EC3 adapter, 2 x XT60-EC5 adapter and USB lead. G-Tech Simplicity
A Smart chip is embedded into the balance connector that enables intelligent interconnection and communication between the G-Tech battery and the smart charger regarding battery information.
Balance Port Compatibility
The G-Tech balance port design allows for both G-Tech batteries and standard balance lead type batteries to be used. This means the D300 is the perfect dual output charger for all battery types.

USB-A Port

We want to make sure your delivery goes smoothly, so here are some important details about our service:
- For orders above £120, we offer delivery to most mainland UK addresses. For orders under £120, we can still deliver to Northern Ireland and the outlying isles, as long as the item can be sent by Royal Mail, weighs less than 30kg, and fits within 61cm × 46cm × 46cm. Some highland and remote areas may carry an extra delivery charge as couriers often apply surcharges in these locations. If you live in one of these areas, feel free to contact us before ordering so we can confirm the delivery options and costs for you.
- Most of our products include delivery in the price. If your order is under £90, a small delivery fee will apply but do not worry this will always be clearly shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
- Depending on what you choose at checkout, your order will usually be delivered either the next working day or within 2 working days. For next day delivery please place your order before 2:00pm. Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday only. Some items may take a little longer and if that is the case we will always show the expected delivery time on the product page.
- If your order includes items with different dispatch times we will normally wait and send everything together once all items are in stock. If one of the items is going to take a while we will give you the choice either wait for everything to arrive or let us send the available items now and deliver the rest later. It is up to you.
- We use trusted delivery partners to make sure your order gets to you safely and on time. We use DPD for next working day deliveries and Royal Mail for the 2 day option.
- As soon as your order is on its way we will send you a tracking number by email. If you provide your mobile number at checkout we will also send delivery updates straight to your phone so you can keep an eye on progress.
- If a product is marked as "Dispatched within 3 working days" delivery usually takes around 3 to 5 working days from when your order is placed.
- For customers in Inverness and other parts of the Scottish Highlands deliveries can take up to 2 working days even if you select next day delivery as couriers do not currently offer a guaranteed next day service to those areas.
