Thanks to residual heat drying technology, this model recycles the heat that’s already built up in the machine during the wash, so drying your crockery is more hygienic and efficient. Smeg has also equipped this dishwasher with AquaStop. This detects leaks in the hose, cutting off the water supply and preventing a flooded kitchen.
What’s more, as this model is built in, it will fit seamlessly into your kitchen units for a comfortable, streamlined look.
Cleaning Performance
With five programmes to choose from, as well as four wash temperatures, you can expect great cleaning results with the DI12E1. If you’re in a rush, the Rapid wash programme will have your dishes gleaming in just 27 minutes. Select the Eco setting to save energy and water or say goodbye to scrubbing pots and pans with the Soak option – ideal for those dinner parties and large family meals.
Plus, with the Ultraclean programme, this model performs a final rinse at a high temperature to eliminate any bacteria - resulting in sparkling dishes every time.
Keep your favourite wine glasses secure thanks to the new stem glass holders. With reduced movement and a minimal touch area, your glasses are safe from scratches, marks, and smudges.
And, the upper basket is height adjustable, so you can use the space flexibly, making room for bulkier items when needed.
The Smeg DI12E1 has ‘A’ ratings for both washing and drying efficiency – the highest wash and dry ratings available. It has also been awarded an A+ rating for energy efficiency.

- We will contact you at least 1 day before your scheduled delivery to confirm the date and ensure that you will be available to receive your order. This helps us coordinate effectively, and gives you peace of mind that everything is on track.
- To help you prepare, we will provide an estimated delivery time window ahead of the scheduled date. On the day of delivery, our driver will give you a courtesy call approximately 15 minutes before arriving at your address. You will also receive an email with the driver's contact information in case you need to reach them.
- Delivery and collection of large appliances and televisions are limited to ground floor access only. If you have arranged for an appliance to be collected for recycling, please make sure it is fully emptied, disconnected, and placed outside your property in a single, complete unit. We are unable to collect items that have been taken apart or separated into multiple pieces.
- When your order is delivered, our team will carefully unpack the items so you can inspect them thoroughly. This allows you to confirm that everything has arrived in excellent condition and that all accessories and components are included.
- Delivery is included with most of our products, offering exceptional value along with convenience. For the majority of mainland UK locations, orders are typically delivered within 1 to 3 working days from the date of purchase. Deliveries to Scotland are usually completed on Saturdays. For regions such as Devon and Somerset, deliveries generally take place on Thursdays or Fridays.
- In some cases, due to high demand or the nature of the product, your order may be delivered by an external courier. If this applies, a delivery fee may be added. Any applicable charges will be clearly shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
- For products listed as "Dispatched within 3 working days", the delivery timeframe is typically 3 to 5 working days from the date your order is confirmed. We make every effort to ensure your items arrive within that period.
